Check out our latest research on Wolbachia-induced spider feminization published in Environmental Microbiology!

Graphical abstract from Mackevicius-Dubickaja et al., 2025. We found that a strain of Wolbachia is required for feminization in the spider Mermessus fradeorum. Wolbachia feminization improves when more co-infecting symbionts are present!

Exciting news! The Doremus lab has started at the University of Illinois in the Department of Entomology! The lab will is in a newly renovated space in Morrill Hall located on the Urbana-Champaign campus.
